Marina Dzougoutov, a Russian-born American from a Deaf family, is the first in her family line to go to college. Armed with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Photography from Gallaudet University and a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Film and Electronic Media from American University, her experience includes working at Magnum Company in Manhattan, New York, Don Schaaf and Friends, Inc. In D.C. She also taught at the Maryland School for the deaf in Frederick, where she found her calling to be a teacher in media for Deaf students. Her passion is to give deaf students an opportunity to express themselves through media and computer technology. Her greatest pleasure is seeing her students continue in the field as part of their higher learning. Ms Dzougoutov serves on the webteam and leads the film and vlog submission process. |
